Mr.
Gopalan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Minor: Computer Engineering)
from the University of Calgary, Canada and an M.Eng.Sc in Electrical Engineering
(Communications) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Mr. Gopalan
was a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the provinces of Alberta and
British Columbia and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng.) in Australia
during various phases of his career.
Mr. Gopalan has worked as a firmware engineer specializing in device drivers and
client-server applications for the last 14 years for companies like G.E.C
Marconi, Eastman Kodak, Rockwell Software and Microsoft. He has
also tutored at tertiary levels in the field of Software engineering and Digital
Signal Processing. His career has afforded him extensive travel opportunities in
Canada, Australia and the United States. He is currently self-employed and
offers consulting and support services to device driver developers.
